| 1959 Junghans J88 Bundeswehr Aviation Wrist Chronograph / Fliegeruhr w. the desirable glossy dial in rarly seen allover original condition. Very clean movement: Brequet Hairspring Nivarox I steel pallet. Original strap - correct for this Junghans Bundeswehr, very rarely seen. Case, bezel, dial and hands remain in un-refurbished original condition. The movement of the watch just received an expert-service. It will be delivered with a copy of the original-catalogs you see on the pictures. Junghans might be best known today for its design-focused Max Bill dress watches, but it has a long history of tool watch production as well. In the late 1950s, the company won the contract to supply the West German Air Force with chronograph wristwatches, including the example you see here in my listing. This example dates to 1959 and is in great overall condition.
